The internet was at a loss after Lux & Loc’s video patrolled social media on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was clear that the short clip was different from most promotional videos shared by hairdressers. The XX by XX song opens the video and continues to the entire video. The opening lyrics “I know you like it right there” and the opening scene immediately give sexy to sexual undertones.

The marketing work begins with a well-groomed slow-motion scene of hands running through Lil Baby’s place. The scene is looped twice and ends with Lil Baby reaching behind her neck and fixing the chain.

For each scene, the Roctishan guides the viewer through the process of twisting his Roku again. But the incredible glare of marketing continues throughout the video with additional slow-motion effects, loop scenes, and interesting close-up shots.

After the sexy fingers run, Lil Baby’s hair is split into ponytails. The next scene is to take a closer look at an unidentified hair care product that is literally rubbed between two fingers. The word “wet wet” and the emoji of water drops are painted on the finger in a white font.

The viewer then returns Lil Baby’s hair progress from partially completed to half completed. In another scene, the hair bubbles slowly fall and spread throughout the rapper’s head. Roctishan stays sexy in some additional scenes featuring hair oils. We get a close-up of oil on his scalp and even run off behind his ears.

A tweet now attached to the viral video says, “Lil Baby doesn’t even know what’s going on.” This concept comes from Lil Baby’s loop scene looking at the camera after the hair is finished. He looks confused in the scene. Despite criticism online, Roctishan used Instagram to stand behind her creative strategy.

“Thanks for your support and support for making negative statements.” Lux & Locs I wrote in the Instagram caption.. “This is my marketing strategy. Nothing is happening.”
