Delta shared a rare insight into her relationship with Matthew in a chat with Stellar Magazine, back in May.

“I am pretty consistent with saying to people that my private life is my private life, but we are spending isolation together and, in our household, we’re both performers," Delta explained to the publication.

"It’s a relationship of respect. Matt is an incredible musician and we really enjoy working together. Music is how we met, it’s what we both do, so it’s really about just being creative in the household.”

Delta, who was just 15 when her career kicked off, also told the publication that though she knows public interest in her personal life comes with the job, she decided years ago that she wouldn't let anyone's thoughts about her romantic life define her.

“It’s also about me understanding who I was, without other people telling me who I was,” she explained.

Delta and Matthew first went Instagram official in January 2019 when the Born To Try singer posted a photo of them in Byron Bay celebrating New Years.

The couple's Bunkerdown Sessions proved popular with fans during lockdown. For 25 weeks from April through to October, Delta and Matthew hosted a series of free online performances featuring brand new songs.

Before she and Matthew started dating, Delta was romantically linked to some big celebrity names including tennis player Mark Philippoussis, singer Brian McFadden and Jonas Brother Joe Jonas.

With reality show The Voice moving from Channel Nine to Channel Seven, it's unclear whether Delta will remain on the show as a coach and the singing superstar opened up about the next stage of her career.

“I love the show. It’s such a wonderful experience and is something I’ve been a part of since day one,” Delta explained to Stellar, before addressing rumours of being "dumped".

“I say after every season – because everybody asks every year – that, as an artist, I take in each moment and appreciate the year that’s been and all the different things I’ve been a part of.

“Then looking ahead, I step into every role and every decision for my next chapter as an ever-evolving artist, and it’s always a step-by-step process of looking at my goals and planning the year ahead,” she added.
