Sexy Sammies is getting ready to celebrate its one-year anniversary from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at 4318 9th Street Road, Greeley with specials, giveaways and news of a second location.
The northern Colorado restaurant specializes in hand-breaded chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches, as well as state-of-the-art technology when it comes to ordering and picking up food.
The restaurant announced community members are invited to swing by the restaurant to enjoy a free 2 Nashville Hot Tender Box with any purchase as well as $2 cocktails, beer and seltzers.
“You won’t find a better chicken sandwich than the one served at Sexy Sammies,” Mayor John Gates said in the restaurant’s news release. “They have quite a variety of tenders and ‘sammies,’ but my personal favorite is the Nashville Hot Sammie.”
In addition to the birthday bash, the restaurant announced its plans for a second location in Greeley.
Restaurant founder Brian Seifried and crew are working to open a second Sexy Sammies at the Apartments at Maddie, across from Roma at the corner of 8th Avenue and 16th Street.
“I’m honored to be involved in such a great community,” Seifried said. “We have come a long way from the beginning. To be part of this new energy in downtown Greeley and bring a modern take to an old classic, it’s just a small part of what we do. Our families work, live and play here and we want to continue to supporting northern Colorado through local businesses and giving back.”
Doors are expected to open on the new location in late fall of 2022, and Seifried is working with a local interior designer to bring a unique and modern look to the new location.
