ON NETFLIX
Dobaaraa
Taapsee Pannu's Dobaaraa is a mystery drama, directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film, a remake of the Spanish movie Mirage, will be available on Netflix on Saturday, October 15. Dobaaraa comes to OTT nearly two months after it opened in theatres on August 19. Read the review.
Mismatched Season 2
The popular comedy-drama series Mismatched enjoys a strong fan following among the Gen Y audience. Its second season premiered on Netflix on Friday, October 15. Its cast is headlined by Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, and Rannvijay Singha.

The Watcher
The eerie mystery series revolves around the chaos that prevails when a family moves into its dream house. The flick's cast includes Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, and Jennifer Coolidge. It premiered on Netflix on October 13.
Buffoon
Vaibhav and Anagha's Buffoon is a crime thriller directed by Ashok Veerappan. The film is about a youngster who gets slapped with a criminal case. How he resorts to an extreme act to come clean forms the story.

The Rings of Power
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 1 finale has dropped on Amazon Prime Video. The finale unveiled would-be blacksmith and King of the Southlands Halbrand (Charlie Vickers) to be the deposed Dark Lord himself. The real identity of Sauron was the big question heading into the final episode of RoP Season 1, and, after some narrative sleight of hand, we finally got our answer, as well as a boatload of betrayal and new journeys to sail into Season 2.
Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu
Director Gautham Menon's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu stars Silambarasan and Siddhi Idnani in lead roles. The gangster drama is about a young guy who travels to Mumbai to make ends meet. A series of unexpected events push him into the Mumbai underworld.
Earwig
A 50-year-old caretaker is employed to look after a 10-year-old girl. His most important task is to maintain her dentures, which are made of ice and must be changed several times a day.
The Good Boss
The Spanish comedy film is a corporate satire that revolves around a charismatic factory owner who meddles in the lives of his employees. His ultimate aim is to win a prestigious award for business excellence and goes to any extent to make his dream come true.
ON DISNEY+ HOTSTAR
House of the Dragon
The prequel to Game of Thrones, based on George RR Martin’s Fire And Blood, is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. It tells the story of House Targaryen. A new episode of House of the Dragon releases in India at 6.30 am every Monday. The last episode saw a 10-year time jump and introduced us to the adult versions of select characters and the story is shaping up in the HBO series.
Rookie Cops
A coming-of-age K-drama premiered on October 12. The story captures the spirit, challenges and passion of youth as two students at the Korean National Police University experience life's charms and traumas while trying to become full-fledged cops. The South Korean series stars Lee Ha-na, Kim Byung-soo, Kang Daniel, Chae Soo-bin, Lee Shin-young and Park Yoo-na.
Aashiqana Season 2
The series premiered on October 10. Taking off from Season 1’s cliff-hanging finale, where Yash and Chikki reluctantly enter into marriage, their love continues to grow in the second season as they help each other out of respect and history. Yash, as a suspended cop, enters a new phase of life where he must clear his tainted name. This time, the duo will also battle an invisible threat that can potentially kill hundreds of people.
ON SONLIV
Good Girl Bad Girl
The web series revolves around Maya, a feisty lawyer with a biting sense of humour. It is headlined by Samridhi Dewan and Gul Panag. Good Girl Bad Girl premiered on SonyLiv on October 13.
ON AHA
Trigger
Director Sam Anton's Trigger features Atharvaa and Tanya Ravichandran. The film is about an undercover police officer who is on a mission to find a child kidnapper.
Unstoppable Season 2

Nandamuri Balakrishna made his debut as an anchor with Unstoppable on aha. Now, season 2 of Unstoppable is all set to begin on October 14. The first guest on the show is politician Mr Chandrababu Naidu.
ON MX PLAYER
Ni Chang
Set in the Ning dynasty, the story revolves around Xie Xiaoni, who wants to rise and become a popular businesswoman. After her family was framed and killed by the Su family, she plans to take revenge. Working under the pseudo name ‘Ni Chang’, she enters the Yunjin Pavilion to learn embroidery skills and makes a space for herself in the industry.
ON DISCOVERY+
Legends of the Ramayana
Legends of the Ramayana with Amish started streaming on Discovery + on October 3. The official synopsis of the series reads, "A story that has lived in the hearts of countless individuals for generations. But is it really just a story for them? It's their truth, the one which their beloved Lord Ram lived."
The Journey of India
The Journey Of India is a six-part series which premiered on October 10, on Discovery+. It has been voiced by legendary Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan.
ON LIONSGATE PLAY
Jerusalem
Jerusalem is about conflicting beliefs, power struggles, love and crime. The thriller has been filmed in the Old City of Jerusalem. The series explores the tension as the officers of the David district prepare for two holy days in the Muslim and Jewish calendars – which, by rare circumstances, are falling on the same day. As the countdown to this extraordinary day could be the perfect time to spark a war. The series premiered on October 14.

Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show
Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show premieres on October 7 on Apple TV +. The series is about inviting preschoolers into a world where a little act of kindness can change the world. It has been created by Jack McBrayer.
