Since June 23, the internet has been buzzing nonstop about a new dating series from Netflix called Sexy Beasts. If you're not sure what we're talking about, it's the show with the trailer featuring a lot of people in various animal costumes going on dates together (yeah, that one).

The idea is to test whether these contestants can fall in love based solely on a person's personality (similar to Love Is Blind ... but even wackier). Once a suitor does meet their match, only then can they both reveal what they actually look like to each other.

When is the Sexy Beasts release date?
Netflix announced that Sexy Beasts will hit the streaming platform on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Per Deadline, season 1 will contain 12 episodes in total (and perhaps if we're lucky, a reunion special later on?). At this time, it's unclear how long each episode will be. But regardless, we're pretty positive it'll be very easy to breeze through the first season.

Who is in the cast of Sexy Beasts?
So far, the trailer tells us we will have contestants disguised as a bull, panda, aardvark, rhino, scarecrow, dolphin, devil, blue-troll (??), hammerhead shark, bug, beaver, zombie (??), mouse, wolf (??), mandrill, cheetah, owl, Frankenstein and mummy. As for the participants' actual names, Netflix has yet to disclose those. We'll be sure to keep you updated once we know more.
