Double Dragon have lit up the stage on America’s Got Talent with their incredible personalities and awesome vocal talent. Not to mention, these girls are just totally hot. They were saved by the judges in the live shows over ukulele player Feng E and it made us want to take a deep dive and learn a little more about them.
1. Double Dragon Twins Are From Peru
The twins are form Peru. Andrea and Irene Ramos are 31-year-old twins from Lima, Peru. They take pride in their country and now they reside in the San Francisco area. During their America’s Got Talent audition, their family members held a Peruvian flag up in the audience. Another fun fact is that their dogs look like twins. Both girls have white fluffy dogs that are totally adorable. Being from Peru, the girls speak Spanish, and we even saw them sing in Spanish during their performance in the live shows.

2. They Got Their Start In Television At A Young Age
The twins started out in show business at a young age. They were just eight years old when they made their first appearance on live television. They danced on a show called De Colores as backup dancers. This has definitely helped them establish an amazing stage presence at a young age and that really shows through their performances on America’s Got Talent.
3. Irene Won A Singing Competition Before ‘America’s Got Talent’
Irene won a singing competition. In 2004 when she was just 16 years old, Irene auditioned for a show called Desafio De Estrellas. It’s basically the Spanish version of American Idol. She actually ended up going on to win the show.
4. Andrea Also Competed In A Singing Competition
Andrea also appeared on a reality talent show. The same year that Irene appeared on that show and won, Andrea appeared on another talent competition called Pop tu Show. She ended up doing really well on the show and was put into a girl group. But it definitely looks like the ultimate girl group that she wanted to be a part of is Double Dragon with her sister.

5. Double Dragon Competed On A Talent Show Together
The twins finally competed on a talent show together. According to their Facebook page, they won a talent show in Peru called Divas. They made waves on social media and their videos went viral including their cover of the song “What A Feeling” and “New York, New York.” At the time, they went by the name Las Gemelas Ramos which translates to The Ramos Twins. You can see glimpses of their time on this show on their Instagram account for a cool blast from the past.
6. They Competed On The Peruvian Version Of ‘The Voice’
Divas wasn’t the only talent show that they competed on. Double Dragon competed on La Voz Peru, but they auditioned separately. This is the Peruvian version of The Voice. This is a shock because we know on America’s Got Talent they competed as a duo. On this show, they were both shocked when the judges turned around for each of them but ultimately, they did not end up making it to the finals. However, they did bring a ton of energy to the show which they have since brought to ‘AGT.’
7. The Twins Are Huge Fans Of Simon Cowell
The twins share an incredible love for Simon Cowell. Don’t we all? They waited 17 years to sing in front of him when they auditioned on ‘AGT.’ They actually met him before they auditioned for the show. Well, kind of. They went to a wax museum where they got to take a picture with the wax version of him. They even began singing in front of the wax version of Simon. The wax version of Simon definitely had less to say than the real version of Simon on ‘AGT.’ After slaying their audition, Simon went backstage to congratulate the girls. They were totally fangirling and you could tell at that moment that all of their dreams were coming true.

8. They Are Budding TikTok Stars
The girls are budding TikTok stars. One of their main strengths is being funny. They post tons of hilarious videos, post covers of songs and show off their dancing skills. In some Tiktoks, they talk about the death of their father three years ago.
9. The ‘America’s Got Talent’ Judges Think They Should Have Their Own Sitcom
The judges think Double Dragon should have their own television show. They did this hilarious bit with one of the girls boyfriends, David in an interview prior to their performance. They said David cooks for them, cleans for them and watches them perform even at the dinner table. They definitely have a supportive man in their life and he seems like he is the ultimate boyfriend. It definitely felt like we were watching a sitcom. Howie Mandel even tweeted that the girls should get their own sitcom.
10. Double Dragon Are Not Afraid To Clap Back At Bullies
Double Dragon shows people that they should not be afraid to be themselves. They often take down internet trolls and bullies who criticize their performances. Their positive attitudes show that they are some of the most amazing women to take the America’s Got Talent stage.
